What we built

A system built for the problem, not off the shelf.

We conducted a full power infrastructure audit: measuring server room load, identifying single points of failure, and testing the existing UPS runtime under actual load conditions. The audit confirmed the UPS batteries had degraded to 38% of rated capacity.

The replacement design specified a redundant online UPS configuration (N+1) with new battery banks sized for 30 minutes at full load, a static bypass switch, and an automatic transfer switch (ATS) for the generator with a sub-3-second failover time.

A dedicated power management system was installed, monitoring UPS health, battery state of charge, input and output voltages, and load percentage — with alerts to the operations team and to on-call engineering if any parameter crossed a threshold.
