The challenge

Complex constraints.Real-world pressure.

Before architecture and implementation, we mapped every operational blocker and business risk. These were the core constraints shaping the entire solution design.

4 critical challenges
01Constraint

2,400 acres treated as a single uniform crop

02Constraint

Input costs rising with no yield improvement

03Constraint

Pest outbreaks detected weeks after they start

04Constraint

Harvest timing based on calendar, not crop state

What we built

A system built for the problem, not off the shelf.

We established a fortnightly multispectral drone survey programme covering all 2,400 acres. Each survey produced NDVI, NDRE, and NDWI maps within 24 hours of flight — giving the farm team actionable crop health data within a single day.

Zone-specific health maps were translated into variable-rate application prescriptions: GPS-mapped zones were classified into 4 health tiers, and application equipment was programmed with the corresponding variable-rate prescription maps for each zone.

Anomaly detection algorithms flagged potential pest or disease onset patterns at the sub-field level before visual symptoms appeared. Early-intervention protocols reduced the spread of detected problems by 70% compared to the pre-programme baseline.

Capabilities delivered

Every feature with a reason.

01

Fortnightly multispectral surveys

Complete 2,400-acre coverage every two weeks using multispectral sensors. NDVI, NDRE, NDWI maps delivered in 24 hours.

02

Variable-rate application maps

Zone-level prescription maps for fertilizer, pesticide, and irrigation. Compatible with GPS-guided application equipment.

03

Early pest & disease detection

Anomaly detection identifies early-onset stress patterns before visible symptoms. Intervention windows maximised.

04

Crop health trend analysis

Season-over-season crop health comparison at field and zone level. Informs crop rotation and soil management strategy.

05

Yield estimation modelling

In-season crop density and health data used to generate harvest volume estimates 6-8 weeks before harvest date.

06

Agronomy reporting

Structured reports with annotated maps, trend analysis, and actionable recommendations delivered to farm management.
