What we built

A system built for the problem, not off the shelf.

We built a rental operations platform with an availability engine at its core. The system maintained a real-time calendar per asset, with booking, maintenance, and servicing slots modelled as mutually exclusive blockages — no double-booking was physically possible.

Digital contracts replaced Word documents. At the start of a hire, both renter and agent photographed the equipment through the app. At return, a side-by-side comparison screen made damage adjudication objective and immediate. Security deposit logic was automated: undisputed returns released the deposit automatically.

A maintenance planner analysed hire history and manufacturer service intervals to schedule preventive maintenance proactively — slotted during predicted low-demand periods based on historical booking patterns.
